Pole Bicycles runs with no permanent staff. Its configurator computes over 100,000 builds, the Staff app handles orders and every customer follows production on a personal page. At Mahtisonni I build quote calculation, profitability analysis and routine automation for manufacturing SMEs.

AI adoption across the company
We first choose the work that consumes the most time: quote calculation, reporting, information retrieval or another recurring task. I document the usage rules and train staff to use the agreed tools.
Quote automation
The request is read, the items are priced and a draft comes out for review. Built for OC-System and a surface treatment company.
Profitability analysis
I analyze costs and margins using the company’s own data. For example, I have examined shipping costs and their effect on margins.
AI mapping
I spend a day at your company reviewing time-consuming tasks. You receive a report and suggestions for where to try AI.
AI ground rules and literacy
I write AI usage rules for the company and train staff. The training and agreed practices are documented.
Three decisions before the first automation
Before integrations, we decide who may see what, which rules the work follows and where current data is retrieved from.
Governance
Before rollout, we agree on access permissions and cost monitoring. I check how these can be implemented in the selected tools.
Example: a salesperson's AI can read the price list but not payroll, and management sees the spend monthly.

I document quote templates, pricing rules and writing guidelines as shared instructions for AI to use when preparing drafts.
Example: a quote draft uses the company’s template and delivery terms. The salesperson reviews it before sending.

Example: the AI fetches stock levels and prices straight from the ERP, and nobody copies numbers by hand.

What do your routines cost?
The calculator promises no savings. It shows what your routines cost now. The mapping separates work worth automating from work that should remain with a person.
I use Pole’s systems myself. I defined how they work and built them with AI assistance. I check calculations, product data and changes before release.
Tested in my own business
Margins, freight and post-calculation
I have priced products, paid the freight and done the post-calculation. I assess how much time the work takes and what it costs.
From the order to the customer's page
At Pole, a configurator selection continues into the Staff app, margin calculation and the customer's personal page. I use the system myself.
The work remains with the client
At the end of the project, the client receives the tools, their instructions and training for maintenance.
