I am Leo Kokkonen, the designer and entrepreneur behind Mahtisonni. I design, calculate, code and visualize products.
My own product, factory and responsibility for the numbers
I designed my own product, built a factory around it and exported about 80% of production. I have priced products, paid freight bills and reviewed actual costs. I assess how much time the work takes and what it costs.

What I bring to the work
My background covers mechanical design, materials, manufacturing methods, surface treatments and brand identities. I have designed dozens of logos and still draw them by hand. Design and brand projects are agreed individually.
Today I build quote automation, profitability analysis and AI-maintained websites for manufacturing SMEs. I have used AI in Pole’s business since ChatGPT launched. Pole’s systems and this website are also part of my daily work.

2013
Pole Bicycles
Pole began in Jyväskylä. Designing a bicycle grew into an international brand.
2017
The Machine
We introduced a hollow CNC-machined aluminum frame. The manufacturing method received patents and we built a factory around it.
2024
Mahtisonni
I founded Mahtisonni.
2026
Hiisi
Hiisi launched in 2026. It is machined and assembled in Jyväskylä.
