OC-System: routines into tools

OC-System manufactures machine guarding for industry. The product is strong, but every quote took hours of handwork: design the product, list the parts, calculate the whole line by line. Time went into routine, not selling.

From hours to minutes

I built quote automation that follows the same route as the salesperson's thinking. First the product is designed to the customer's spec: OC-Lite, OC-Net, OC-10 or a combination. That produces the parts list, and from the parts list the machine calculates the whole: parts, materials, work, painting and margin. Logistics, installation and any additional procurement are added automatically. Hours of quote calculation became a few minutes of work, and a person reviews and decides.

Imagery before the product existed

For the same company I modeled and rendered the OC-NET machine guarding imagery and video as a sales tool. The customer sees the finished product before a single mesh panel is manufactured. The same animation runs on our front page.

A pilot on your own quote archive

New automation starts with the client's own quote archive. Items, prices and decision rules are tested in a pilot before rollout. A person reviews the result and decides whether the quote is sent.
